2008 Festivities

Put a Child's Heart in Your Hands.

Enjoy a day of celebration, relaxation, jet boat rides, live music, wine and cheese tasting, fantastic salmon barbeque and an exciting charity auction. Have fun and donate to a worthy cause!

The Save-a-Child's Life Foundation was established to raise awareness and educate people about the very treatable disease of pediatric melanoma. All proceeds from the day's events, both ticket sales and auction proceeds, go directly to the following organizations:

Shriners Children's Hospitals (nationwide)
Doernbecher Children's Hospital, Portland, OR
Grants Pass Family YMCA, Grants Pass, OR

4:00 p.m.	The fun begins!
4:00 - 5:00	Jet Boat Rides
4:00 - 5:30	Wine and cheese tasting
5:45 p.m.	Special film preview and children's chorus
Get ready to purchase great items for an outstanding cause. Children helped by these organizations depend on your generosity!
6:00 - 7:00	Oral Auction
7:30 p.m.	The best salmon Barbeque ever
*A 75-year river guide tradition with fresh, local vegetables, homemade breads, cobbler and ice cream.*

Minimum Donation:

Minimum Donation ($50 per person) may be paid in advance or at the gate. Admission tickets will be distributed at gate. At your request, Minimum Donation will be deducted from auction purchases. Minimum Donation may be waived if you donated or purchased an auction item in 2006.

Help the Festival reach its goals:

Call Susan Feehan or Bonnie Mark to volunteer.
Donate an auction item.
Solicit an auction item for donation.
Purchase an auction item at the festival.
Make an extra contribution (even if you can't attend).
Invite a friend (who just might purchase an item).

Dedicated to the memory of Bob Pritchett, longtime Rogue River guide who died of melanoma. Also dedicated, in Bob's memory, to all the children of the Earth.
